No. 977/91) and offers a four year B.Pharm Degree Course affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur, No. 737/Ac1/1/2010/kuhas dated 8 November 2010 and approved by PCI Ref. No. 17-1/2010-PCI/3531 - 762 dated 7 May 2010, AICTE No. South-West Region/KERALA-17-BLANK/2010/EOA dated 14 December 2010 and Government of Kerala G.O.(Rt) No. 2850/04/H&FWD dated 8 October 2004. Visionaries in imparting quality education in the field of pharmacy the college also focusses on the total development of individuals in their field of expertise and prompting them to contribute to the overall development of the nation. Situated on a 10 acre campus in Thiruvananthapuram, the capital city of Kerala, in a serene location, it is the only self financing pharmacy college in the city of Thiruvananthapuram. At MDCP we have collaborations which include exchange of undergraduate and graduate students, Industrial visits, Institutional visits, joint research and consultancy activities, participation in seminars and academic meetings, special Short term academic programs and projects. The MOU entails the setting up of a Centre of Excellence in MDCP which will have state-of – art infrastructure facility.
Candidate must have passed B.Pharm degree examination from Kerala University of Health Sciences or an examination equivalent thereto of any other University recognized by Kerala University of Health Sciences with not less than a total of 55% marks for B.Pharm degree examination shall be eligible for admission to M.Pharm course. - Boys Hostel
Excellent hostel facilities are provided by the College. The dedicated staff takes care of the students. Men’s hostel is situated at Palayam opposite to AKG center managed by MGOCSM of the Orthodox Church. Food at a moderate rate and neat rooms are provided to students. The college provides to and from transportation from the college to the city center. The college hostels are well connected to the college by college buses. - Girls Hostel
Excellent hostel facilities are provided by the College. The dedicated staff takes care of the students. Ladies hostel is situated in Kesavadasapuram managed by senior and able wardens. Food at a moderate rate and neat rooms are provided to students. The college provides to and from transportation from the college to the city center. The college hostels are well connected to the college by college buses. - Library
A well-housed and well-managed library is the foundation of any educational structure. To keep pace with the ever-expanding field of knowledge, the library is to be updated from time to time. The college library has a rich collection of books capable of meeting the changing needs and demands of students and was established along with the inception of the college. It is indeed a book lover’s paradise and an oasis for the knowledge of thirsty people. MDCP library is completely automated by making use of the Information Technology.The users are given free of access to internet. - Sports
The college promotes the co-curricular activities in a big way mustering the all-around performance of the students. The college conducts Sports and Arts days every year and the winners are honoured. Christmas, Onam and Eid festivals are celebrated in the college with fun and gaiety to bring about brotherhood, friendship and love amongst one and all. Talented students are encouraged to attend the University and Inter-University events. The students of the college have brought laurels to the college on many occasions. The management offers full support for promoting the cultural activities of students. The college stood second in Kerala University Pharmakalotsvam during two consecutive years 2009 and 2010. - Cafeteria

The institute’s Sick Room / First aid Room will provide basic health care services to the students reporting physical illness at any point of time during the college hours. Basic care will be given for common issues like dizziness, fainting, vomiting, abdominal pain, back ache etc. In case of hospitalization requirement, parents will be informed for necessary action with helpline numbers. Institute will not provide any transportation or vehicle facility for the same. - IT Infrastructure

The college has 18 laboratories available including a central instrumentation room, machine room, and computer room with adequate sets of equipment and apparatus, where all the students in a practical class can simultaneously perform the same experiment. For the practical instruction and analysis of the subject, excellent laboratories are set up. The Human Anatomy and Physiology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry labs, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacognosy labs, Pharmacology and Computer labs are all made in accordance with the stipulations of the concerned authorities and maintained well with the help of dedicated and assigned lab staff. A sophisticated instrumentation laboratory with HPLC, UV-Visible Spectrophotometer, Tablet coating machine, multi- purpose equipment, Brookfield's Viscometer, Rotary vacuum evaporator, Disintegration, and Dissolution test apparatus are available for teaching and research activities. - Guest Room
The college has a guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.
