Maulana Azad Educational Society's Marathwada College of Education, Aurangabad was established in April 1970 under the management of Maulana Azad Educational Trust and founded by Late Dr. Rafiq Zakaria. It is one of the premier minority colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in their part of progress. The college is affiliated with Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad and it is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) in April 1971 under Act, 1956. It is also recognized and approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Bhopal to offer B.Ed. and M.Ed. courses and re-accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "A" Grade (CGPA Score 3.11 on a 4 Point Scale in 2nd Cycle) on 25th May 2016. The main aim of the college is determined to provide the quality education to the future teachers. With the correct mix of technology and human touch, the college empowers the aspiring teachers to propagate education through the rungs of the society so that they serve the nation while making a satisfying career for themselves. The Maulana Azad Educational Trust has been established numbers of colleges/schools for the student in the region of Maharashtra and all over the India having K.G. to P.G. It is co-educational self-financed private Institute, provided a regular course in which is located in the urban part of Aurangabad played a pioneering role in the field of higher education. The college conferred the status of grant-in-aid college that the fees and all the facilities for the students are fixed by the government. The student's admission is done as per the Admission Criteria prescribed by the affiliating university.
Candidates with at least fifty percent marks either in the Bachelor?s Degree and Master?s Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/ Humanity, Bachelor's in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification, equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the program.
