Marian College, Kuttikkanam, P.O, Peermade, Idukki District, Keral - 685531 India.Marian College Kuttikkanam (Autonomous) was founded in 1995 and is affiliated to the Mahatma Gandhi University. It is owned by and managed by the Catholic Diocese of Kanjirappally through the Peermade Development Society. Marian has a unique and enviable history that it gained autonomy in a span of 20 years. Marian started with just three undergraduate programs and at present the college offers 20 programmes, including doctoral programs in Social Work and Commerce. Marian was the youngest accredited* college in India in 2003 and at present the college is re-accredited with A grade and CGPA 3.52/4 by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in 2014. The college won the prestigious status of the College with Potential for Excellence (CPE) from University Grants Commission (UGC) in 2009 and 2014.

- Boys Hostel
There are two hostels for boys which offer absolute security, comfortable accommodation and tasty food for students at a reasonable rate. Boys hostels are situated amidst a glistening panoramic view rich with greenery. They provide a comfortable and conducive atmosphere to develop the innate abilities of hostellers. The men’s hostel can accommodate 1000 students. Boys hostels are under the supervision of Reverend fathers and nuns. The hostel mess caters to both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. The kitchen is spacious and has modern facilities which help in serving delicious healthy and nutritious food. Special care is taken to maintain strict hygienic condition. The hostel directors render their full support in all Marian activities. The 'Hostel day' organized by hostel inmates, 'College day' and fests organized by the students of various departments take place in the college every year. The hostel has an in-house Laundry unit which was set up to facilitate students. The college laundry service is equipped with state-of-the-art imported machinery such as industrial washing machine, industrial dryer, and industrial ironing machine. Separate laundry bags are provided to the students for organizing the clothes without confusion. The laundry facility is available to students at a nominal fee. The hostel also has an in-house Mini snack bar which caters to the student needs. The hostellers need not move out of the campus to buy their basic essentials and snacks. Other facilities within the hostel include- Gym, Badminton court, Prayer hall, Reading room, 24 hour Wi-Fi, 24-hour water supply. - Girls Hostel

Marian College has got an excellent, fully computerized two-storeyed library, with more than 21,000 books, 16 international journals, and 88 national journals, providing a varied dimension to the learning resources with full access to interactive media and digital databases. Students can access the college library from 8am-8pm (girls) and 8am-10pm (boys). The library also has terminals for online reference of journals and internet access and facilities for the reprographic requirements of the staff and students. - Sports

Marian College provides free first aid and health service for students and staff on the campus itself. A comprehensive range of services is provided. The first aid center is always manned by an efficient nurse, who deals with emergencies, injuries, and illnesses.
