18 YEARS OF EXCELLENCE.
Matha college of technology proudly welcomed upon yet another year to cement apex benchmarks and bagged for itself the pride of creating a legacy of 18 long and glorious years of excellence in the field of education. The day holds special significance in the heart and minds of each and everyone as this was the day when a special journey began in the year 2003 with a passion to bring about a difference in the field of education.

Facilities
Boys Hostel
Separate hostel facilities are available for boys. Tidy rooms and hygienic facilities make for an ideal stay-away from home ambiance. The hostlers also access multi-gym and provision for a variety of indoor games facilities. The mess facilities in the hostel are designed to meet international hygiene standards. A mineral water plant is operated within the campus and has a well-maintained Ro facility. This water is used for cooking, drinking and is available throughout the campus.

Gym
For students to stay fit and healthy, the college is equipped with gym and fitness center facilities - treadmill, exercise bikes, and more of the latest fitness equipment. All gyms and fitness centers are open both in the morning and evening hours. A healthy body and a healthy mind are important.
Library
The role of books and literature cannot be belittled, even in the least sense, to ascertain quality education. It is only through a careful study of selective books, one can gain knowledge & understand the concepts, which help to lay a strong foundation for an engineer. The library caters to this requirement by stocking books prescribed by the university syllabus and additional texts by internationally acclaimed authors, for references. The library has also subscribed to a variety of journals & magazines to keep both students and faculty updated with the global trends in the field of science & technology. The membership of the library is open to staff and students of the college. The Library of MCT is located on the first floor of the west block. The library is associated with a vast reading area.
Sports
The college annual sports are conducted at the college ground. The program started at 9.30 am. Physical Education Director Nitheesh K. R delivered the welcome speech. The Vice-Principal Prof. Prasanth Narayan inaugurated the program by hosting the flag. The Dean of Diploma Prof. Divakaran M. R facilitated the program. The sports committee member Mr. Subhash P. K delivered the vote of thanks. The program was concluded with the national anthem.
Cafeteria
The college canteen meets the catering requirements for all the staff and students. The college canteen offers delicious, healthy, and homely food at subsidized rates.
Auditorium
The auditorium of the college is situated on the third floor of the main block. The construction of the auditorium was done in such a way that there is enough air circulation and light. About two thousand people can be seated at a time.
IT Infrastructure
The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The college has a transport facility for students and staff.
