- Candidates must have completed a minimum of 50% in math, physics, and chemistry in the HSC (Academic).
- For HSC (Vocational) - any one of Math, Physics, or Chemistry, as well as any associated Vocational theory and practical.
- General (OC) minimum of 50% BC & BCM minimum of 45% and 40% for SC,SCA & ST and MBC & DNC.
