Navajyothi Teacher Training College for Women, unaided in nature is managed by the Sisters who belong to the Congregation of the Holy Family (CHF), founded by the Blessed Mother Mariam Theresia. CHF sisters manage various educational institutions and social centers all over the country and abroad. This college has started its functioning on August 2002.
The vision behind our mission is the provision of quality education to the youth to mold them into value-oriented citizens having social responsibilities and loyal to the nation and to add nobility further to the teaching as a vocation with dedication. There must be an atmosphere of love and freedom-oriented by the spirit of the Holy Bible. Hence our educational endeavors are always aimed at helping the prospective teachers to make themselves intellectually competent, spiritually mature, morally upright, psychologically integrated, physically capable, and socially acceptable so as to enable them to champion the cause of Love, Peace, and Truth.
Library The college has a library facility for all students.
Sports Health is a lifetime concern. Your goal is to be fit and active rather than being liable to your health and yourself. Ensuring physical activities helps the individual to become active and to have a healthy life. The athletic association in this college formed to develop the all-round qualities of the individuals. Here we train the students to participate in various athletic events and teach them the rules and regulations of the events. These practices also make them get a thorough knowledge about the events through annual athletic meet being conducted here every year. Also, we give training in various games like caroms, chess, and badminton. These help students to get enjoyment and relaxation.
Cafeteria The College has Self-running students and staff involved canteen is working in this college with the help of nonteaching staff during the leisure time.
Auditorium The College has a Multi-purpose hall with a seating capacity of two hundred and a Dias with a total area of 3202 sq.ft. The hall is well equipped with a Multimedia facility and most modern stereo system.
IT Infrastructure The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.
Laboratories The college has a departmental based laboratory facility for the students.
