The institution is dedicated to St. Mary and is under the patronage of His Grace. Dr. Mathews Mar Severios, Metropolitan of Kandanad.
Our current intake is 100 students in Social Science, Physical Science, Natural Science, Mathematics and English. All necessary facilities for the course has been provided along with a fully furnished library, well equipped computer lab, psychology lab, spacious auditorium for general assembly and co-curricular programmes. Attached model high school, St. Mary’s High School, under the same management is an added advantage for the students for close observation and interaction with the students and teachers during the course. The college is located at Thalacode, 18 Kms. from Ernakulam and 3 kms. South east of Chottanikkara in a pristine surrounding. The college is well connected by road and rail. Mulanthuruthy, 5 kms. From the college is the nearest railway station.

Candidates with at least fifty percent marks either in the Bachelor’s degree and/or in the Master’s degree in sciences/social sciences/humanity, Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialization in science and mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the program.

- Girls Hostel
The college has a Hostel on the campus for the convenience of the lady students for the easy accessibility to attend extra classes and to put in more time for library reference work. The concept of keeping the hostel as a 'home away from home' is our goal and for this, all efforts are being made. Foodservice in the hostel is always homely and the inmates will have their say in deciding the menu. With a parental attitude, hostel warden and resident tutors are always ready to hear and solve the problems faced by the inmates. - Library

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students. As per the guidelines of the N.C.T.E., we have established a Psychology Laboratory in the College. Verbal, non-verbal, and performance tests are available in the lab. Students are given practical sessions to familiarize themselves with various psychological tests and obtain practical skills in their administration, scoring, and interpretation. - Parking Facility
