Nizam College, Hyderabad

Nizam College Hyderabad was established in 1887. The campus size of the college spreads over an area of 20 acres of land. Nizam College is a constituent college of Osmania University, Hyderabad. The college is accredited by NAAC with grade B++. Nizam College Hyderabad is recognised by the University Grants Commission. The college is also ISO 9001:2015 certified. NC Hyderabad has been conferred the status of an autonomous college. The college also has an IGNOU study center. The mission and vision of the college is to create leaders and entrepreneurs and remain a centre of excellence in education and research.

Nizam College Hyderabad offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the fields of Arts, Science, Commerce, Management, Computer Applications, etc. The undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by the college are B.A., B.Sc., B.Com, B.B.A, B.C.A., M.Sc., M.A., M.B.A, M.C.A. and M.Com. The total number of faculty members in the college is 153 and the total number of students enrolled is 3003. Thus, the student-teacher ratio of the college is 20:1.

The college provides many facilities like library, medical clinic, laboratories, sports, boys hostel, girls hostel, cafeteria, auditorium, IT infrastructure, gym and many more. NC Hyderabad also has a placement cell. The college placement cell helps its final year students in placement. The placement cell conducts various pre-placement activities like mock interviews, aptitude tests, personality development training, CV writing, etc to train its final year students. There are also many clubs and societies in the college for overall development of the students.
