PESCE was founded by the People's Education Society currently known as People's Education Trust (R). The campus is spread over 62 acres of land. The college is recognised by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The main objective of the institution is to promote Technical Education among the students of Rural Areas. As per the NIRF 2021 report, the college has been given the 139th position in the engineering category. PES College of Engineering is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University.
PES College of Engineering offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes. - Boys Hostel
The institute provides both on-campus and off-campus hostel facilities for the boys’ students. Students who are residing in an off-campus hostel are provided with bus conveyance to the campus. Students are also provided with other facilities like free medical services, a library, a TV room, solar water heaters, etc. Playground and separate mess are also available for the on-campus students. - Girls Hostel
Hostel for girls at PESCE are situated inside the campus. CCTV cameras are installed for the security purpose of the students.
