The Prime objective of the Central Library is to provide a wide range of current, accurate and authoritative information from a vast selection of print and electronic resources to foster scholarly education, research and informational needs of the user.The Central Library has a sprawling space of 39604 sq.ft distributed in 3 floors in exclusive Library block.There are over 39000 text and reference books spanning all the disciplines of medicine and research. The library subscribes to 809 Indian and International Journals (print and online inclusive).The Various service of the library includes Circulation service, Reference service, Document Delivery Service, Reprographic service etc.The Digital library segment is augmented by a dedicated 4 Mbps broad band internet service. The institute has subscribed to reputed health science database such as OVID, ProQuest Medical Library,Clinical Key, Micromedex, Expert consult, and Cochrane Library.The Library offers free membership to all of its students (UG, PG, & Research Scholars), faculty and alumni.The Library works on all days from 8 a.m to 12 p.m (Midnight).
