Chandrakanthi Govindarajulu, PSGR Krishnammal College for Women (PSGRKCW) has now blossomed into a reputed and renowned institution of higher education. The rich heritage is carried forward under the leadership of the Managing Trustee, Sri. G. Rangaswamy and Founder Trustee, Smt. R. Nandini. Enjoying autonomy since 2004, the college was conferred with 'College of Excellence' status by the UGC in 2016. It is ranked 6th among colleges in India in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2021 by Ministry of HRD, Government of India. PSGRKCW is accredited by NAAC with A++ Grade (CGPA 3.71). All the eight science departments of the college have been recognized with Star status of DBT, Government of India. PSGRKCW offers 32 UG, 13 PG and 13 MPhil/PhD programmes in arts, science, commerce, business administration, management, and computer science.

- Girls Hostel
The college has 5 hostels situated in 2 km radius. Accommodation with nutritious food, vegetarian and non-vegetarian, is provided to all the inmates of the hostel. The Secretary is the Chief Warden. Other facilities in the hostel include a gym, STD booth, photo copier, library, stores and beauty parlour. - Gym

GRG Govindarajulu Memorial General Library consists of 59000 books, 174 journals and periodicals, newspapers and e-resources. A digital library section also offers the latest online reading materials. The college consists of 2 main computerized libraries and 17 departmental libraries which stocks a vast range of books which support the teaching, research and extension programmes of the Institution. These libraries have a good collection of books on various subjects of different disciplines of science, humanities and social science and are enhanced periodically. GRG Govindarajulu Memorial General Library consists of 57353 books, 190 journals and periodicals, 7 newspapers and e-resources. A digital library section also offers the latest online reading material. E-resource database like INFLIBNET and DELNET provides access to thousands of online journals. - Sports
The Department of Physical Education offers to coaching for various games like Volleyball, Basketball, Handball, Football, Ball Badminton, Shuttle, Athletics, Judo, Karate, Rifle Shooting, Carom, Table Tennis and Chess. The teams have individual coaches. All sports students are provided with kits and tracksuits. The students practice on the grounds that are on the college premises. The sports students are also given accommodation in the hostel with free food and transport facilities. An indoor stadium is also in the process of construction. - Cafeteria
The FSSAI certified GRG Cafeteria which can house a floating population of 150 students provides nutritious and tasty food. A variety of breakfast, lunch, snacks, and drinks are available for the students and staff. Experienced cooks with more than 20 years of experience serving in the canteen. Carbonated drinks and junk foods are not served. Fresh juice counter and freshly cooked food are the specialties of the canteen. Also, the first floor of the canteen is available to cater to a strength of 200 faculty/students during workshops and seminars. Healthy foods like sprouts and ragi malt are provided to the sports students and athletes in the evening. - Auditorium
Chandra Seminar Hall, with a capacity of 375 seats and the Conference Hall which can seat 225 are state-of-the-art halls with all modern facilities. They are the venue for a number of National, International seminars, workshops, and guest lectures. The Open Auditorium that can house 4000 students was sponsored by the Alumni Association of PSGR Krishnammal College for Women on the occasion of the Golden Jubilee of the College. The auditorium is used to hold events that involve the entire strength of the college. - Medical/Hospital
Health Care Club and Medical Insurance facility given to all the students enable them to claim their medical expenses from private hospitals. - Wifi

The college offers bus facilities to all the hostel students. Buses ply everyday between the college and hostel in the mornings and evenings. Also transport facilities are extended to various associations and clubs-curricular and co-curricular for the sake of Industrial visits and other related activities. - Laboratories
The science and computer laboratories are well – equipped. In addition, there is an English Language lab and Commerce lab. The Language Lab is utilized by students of all majors to improve their English language and communication skills. Centralized generator facility enables the smooth functioning of the administrative and lab work. - Convenience Store
The college has a store in its precincts that sells stationeries and eatables to the students at a very reasonable rate. Uniform sarees, lab manuals, record notebooks and textbooks are also sold.
