Peet Memorial Training College, Mavelikkara in Alappuzha district was established in the year 1960 in the remembrance of one of the leading missionaries, Rev. Joseph Peet. The college offers B.Ed and M.Ed courses in various specializations. The admission is based on merit and the application mode is online.
Girls Hostel The college has a ladies hostel that has been started by providing comfortable accommodation for lady students of the college. The hostel is in the same compound as the college. The maximum intake of students is 60. The UGC has sanctioned a total amount of 60 lakhs for the construction of the lady's hostel. Proper management of the hostel is ensured by the warden, housekeeper, watchman, cooks, and menial staff. ? The hostel has one dining hall, one recreational room with cable TV, and a library with Wi-Fi connectivity.
