The autonomous college is ranked AIR 7th by NIRF 2021 for college ranking. The 2020 NIRF ranking of the college was 5th in the college category. Presidency College is affiliated with Madras University. This College is accredited by NAAC (With Grade B++) and the score is 2.58. The co-ed college is spread across 35 acres in Chennai. The college offers 94 courses at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate levels. Most of the programmes are offered in both English and Tamil at Presidency College. There are more than 4800 students enrolled in the college.
