Rajadhani Institute of Engineering and Technology, Rajadhani Hills, Nagaroor, Attingal, ThiruvananthRajadhani Institute of Engineering and Technology (RIET) is established in the year 2009 by Indira Charitable Trust, Thiruvananthapuram, which is offering a wide range of business and societal activities in Higher Education, Hospitality and Tourism, Construction and Information Technology over the past few decades. RIET began its stride with four BTech programs in 2009, now offers BTech programs in eight branches of Engineering and Technology, two MTech/PhD programs in Civil Engineering, 2 year MBA program, 4 year BHMCT and five 3 year Diploma programs.
The college is affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University and is approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The College offers NBA Accredited Programs and is about to get accredited by NAAC.
In the recent past, RIET has organised many programs of national importance. Smart India Hackathon (2018), Prime Ministers Koushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) Skill Training for the benefit of the local community, and house one of the largest TCS-iON Online Testing Centre, start-up and Innovation activities for the benefit of the student community, etc.
The college provides value based education and strives to develop the overall personality of students by enhancing creativity, self-confidence, communication and leadership skills. The college has become a centre of excellence catering to the needs of higher education sector in the State of Kerala.

The Rajadhani Institute of Engineering and Technology Alumni Association (RIETAA) was formed in 2015, with a view to strengthen the bond between the old students and college.
The first RIETAA General Body Meeting was convened in the Rajadhani Auditorium, Trivandrum on August 8, 2015. The Bye-Laws were passed. The meeting was followed by variety entertainments. The Second General Body Meeting of RIETAA was held in November 11, 2016 in the main auditorium, RIET campus.
In third General Body Meeting which was on 6th January 2019 some changes were made in the Bye-Law and by March 2019 it has registered officially in the name “RAJADHANI INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY ALUMNI ASSOCIATION (RIETAA)” with registration number –TVM/TC/269/2019 of Travancore-Cochin Charitable Society Act of Govt. of Kerala.
Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical subject as third subject. The candidate must have combined aggregate minimum of 45% marks in these subjects.

Boys Hostel
The college has Hostel for boys (AC & Non AC rooms) is available at RBS. The hostel facilities are of the highest standards.
Girls Hostel
The college has Hostel for girls (AC & Non AC rooms) is available at RBS. The hostel facilities are of the highest standards.
Gym
The college has a Separate multi-functional fully equipped fitness center and a gymnasium is also available for boys and girls.
Library
The college has Information and knowledge are the lifelines for learning to be it the student or the faculty. RIET has one of the best Resource Centres designed to provide support to all engineering departments. The Central Technical library has over 18000 books, journals, volumes related to all branches of science, engineering, and management. The students have access to international and national journals in addition to handbooks, standard manuals, technical reports, conference proceedings, etc. The Digital Library on the campus provides access to archives, a collection of e-books, e-Journals, CD-ROMs, text images, and other online collections to scholars and learners. Library automation is done using Smart Campus software which facilitates all in-house operations of the library. The barcode-based circulation system is used in the library. All the books are bar-coded in the library & barcode laser scanners are used in the circulation counter for book transactions. Students can make use of their Smart card for borrowing books.
Sports
The college has a healthy mind needs a healthy body. The club organizes sports and related activities on the campus and intercollegiate tournaments every year. Membership is open to all. RIET has facilities for football, an Indoor rooftop cricket field, table tennis, badminton, basketball, and volleyball.
Cafeteria
The college canteen is situated on the 5th floor and consists of a massive and hygienic kitchen and a dining area which can accommodate up to 500 persons at a time, serves north Indian, South Indian, and Chinese cuisines. The food served here is priced at affordable. Hostel mess is attached to the hostels for ease of access. We have a separate dining hall for girls and boys. The food served here is according to the pre-prescribed menu and timings. The girl's dining hall can seat up to 300 students and boys up to 400 students at a time.
