The college is affiliated to VTU and approved by the AICTE and the Govt. of Karnataka. Accredited by NBA of the branches of CSE,ECE,EEE,ME & International Accreditation by HLACT, Texas, UK.
It offers Under Graduate programs in six engineering disciplines, besides masters programs. Departments such as Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Information Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Management Studies offer research programs leading to Ph.D and M.Sc. Engineering (by Research) of VTU.
The RajaRajeswari College of Engineering campus has been designed as a complete. Self-contained centre of excellence with modern classrooms, state-of-the-art labs, workshops, library, hostels, Wi-Fi enabled campus with high speed internet connectivity and advanced computing facilities. A 4000-seater auditorium, 300-seater conference hall and 6 seminar halls of 120 capacity each are regular venues for conferences, seminars and other events.
A dedicated and highly qualified faculty has authored books and regularly publishes papers, with students too being encouraged to participate in the research process.

To be eligible for the admission process of RajaRajeswari College of Engineering B.E admissions must have passed the 10+2 intermediate examinations from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Maths as compulsory subjects.

- Boys Hostel
A home away from home is the concept of hostels in RRCE. Separate hostels are provided for boys with a choice of individual and shared rooms. The students are provided the best possible comfort with well-furnished rooms that come with attached bathrooms. A common room with recreational facilities, laundry facilities, and mess facilities are features of each of the hostels, besides a visitors’ room. Each hostel has been provided with more than one TV with dish connections. Both the hostels have generators, water coolers, and dining halls with a modern kitchen. Doctors will be available on call from our hospital to take care of the health and always make them feel at home. Both men and women hostels are situated inside the campus and are managed by full-time residential wardens. - Girls Hostel

RRCE has excellent recreational facilities for sports including gymnasium, basketball court, volleyball court and a spacious ground for sports such as football, cricket and hockey. Our teams have participated in many tournaments inside and outside Bangalore and have won many prizes. A well laid out playfield annexed to the College Campus provides a facility for various games. Auditorium RajaRajeswari College of Engineering has a well-equipped auditorium with a seating capacity of over 350 people. The auditorium is spacious, well ventilated and has well-furnished halls. A regular venue for conferences, workshops, and seminars, this auditorium has all the facilities to enhance the learning process and is a vast space that serves the varied requirements of quality education. The objective behind the auditorium is to enhance the quality of education. To make this possible, the auditorium offers facilities such as LCD projectors, screens, white-boards for delivering lectures. It also provides ample opportunity for our staff and students to exhibit their talents in cultural activities. RajaRajeswari college of engineering is also equipped with 3000 seater ACS convention center with international level facilities for caters RRG mega-events. Seminar Hall Each department is equipped with 100 seats seminar hall with projection and audio facilities. 180 seater seminar hall provides opportunities to the students to interacts with a subject in depth of every engineering fields through EDUSAT, E-Vidya programmes at university level. Conference Hall 350 seater conference hall with international level facilities provides ample opportunity for our staff and students to exhibit their talents in cultural activities. Management is pleased to extend free treatment to Student / Faculty Members at RRMCH & RRDC. All the intending users are using producing ID Cards. Accident Insurance plan is covered for both students and faculty by the management. Management is also providing a free psychometric test for our students by eminent psychiatrist doctors of RRMCH.
