SSET B.TECH ADMISSIONS- NRI SEATS
- An applicant can apply only for one category, either management or NRI.
- Candidate who has passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Mathematics separately and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM), put together are eligible for NRI quota admission. However excellent marks for PCM in the qualifying examination is desirable

Boys Hostel
The boys hostel of SSET offers a comfortable stay to the students. Over 489 students can be accommodated in the boys hostel. The college has a separate boys hostel for first year students. Basic facilities like a common room with TV, indoor games, first aid facilities etc. are available at the boys hostel.
Girls Hostel
A separate girls hostel is present at the campus. The girls hostel has an accommodation capacity of 390 students. For the safety of students, security personnel are deployed in hostel proximity. The girls hostel has facilities such as indoor games, power backup, computer centre with internet access etc. for students.
Library
SCMS School of Engineering and Technology has a library that has a large collection of books, journals, magazines and various other reading materials for students and faculty members.
Sports
The college focuses on development of sports at the campus. The Department of Physical Education is responsible for conducting various sports activities at the campus. It also promotes students to participate in sports tournaments.
Cafeteria
The institute cafeteria is spacious and can accommodate over 500 people at a time. It serves both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food to students, staff and faculty members. The food served is hygienic and affordable.

The institute has 22 buses running to and fro between major parts of the city to college campus. The timings of the buses are prepared keeping in mind students' lecture time. Separate buses are available for first year students.

Students can buy books and stationery items from the college store. Furthermore, the institute has a Reprographic Centre for photocopying, scanning, binding reports etc.
