Pass in +2/HSC/VHC or its equivalent qualifying examination with a minimum of 55% on each aggregate mark for English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as an optional subject. The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 30th June of the year of admission (As per University Norms). All other forms of admission are as per the policies of Nursing Councils, Government and Kerala University of Health Science.
Girls Hostel The college provides hostel accommodation for all students. Stay in the hostel is compulsory to meet the requirements of the course both academic and practical. During their stay in the hostel, the students will be strictly adhered to the hostel rules. Students are expected to bring their own mattress, pillows, bed linen and other items of personal use. The cost of any damage to hostel property will have to be paid by the hostlers. Administration / discipline at the hostels are governed by the hostel rules. Student must abide with them and infringement may result in disciplinary action i.e. termination from the hostel. Mess: All the students shall be required to join the Hostel mess. The mess fee structure is liable to change at any time.
Library Extensive library service and systematic use of audio visual aids is available in the college to support the students in their continuous learning process. They shall follow all the rules & regulations of the concerned.
Cafeteria The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.
Medical/Hospital On admission every student will undergo a medical examination and an annual checkup will be done for all the students. Students are immunized against infectious diseases like typhoid, cholera, hepatitis and tetanus, whenever necessary. Medical care will be given to them in case of illness at S.H College of Nursing as per the student health scheme.
IT Infrastructure The college has IT Infrastructure facility for the students.
Transport The college has transport facility for students and staff.
Laboratories The entire hospital complex of the S.H General Hospital, Greengardens with 350 bedded multi-specialty hospital is made available to the students for academic implication of evidence based practice in addition to other affiliated hospitals.
