SJB Institute of Technology, #67, BGS Health & Education City, Dr. Vishnuvardhan Road, Kengeri, BengSJB Institute of Technology was established in 2001 by Sri Adichunchanagiri Shikshana Trust. The campus of the institute spreads over an area of 13 acres of land. SJBIT Bangalore is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with grade A. The institute is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The institute is affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, Karnataka. SJB Institute of Technology is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The institute is also certified by the International Organization for Standardization ( ISO 9001-2015).
The institute offers six undergraduate programmes leading to Bachelor of Engineering, six postgraduate programmes of Master of Technology, one postgraduate programme in Master of Business Administration and nine recognised research programmes. SJB Institute of Technology accepts scores of KCET/COMEDK UGET for B.E programme admission, Karnataka PGCET/GATE for M.Tech programme, Karnataka PGCET for M.B.A programme and VTU ETR for Ph.D programme admission. The institute has a total of 207 well-qualified faculty members. The total number of students enrolled at present is 3245. Thus, the student-teacher ratio at SJBIT Bangalore is 16:1.

The institute has spacious 2 seater and 3 seater hostels.
