SPCE Mumbai has been approved by the AICTE. It is a government-aided autonomous institute under Mumbai University. Sardar Patel College of Engineering Mumbai is a privately owned co-ed college. SPCE Mumbai has a campus size of 5 acres. The total number of faculty members is more than 40 and the total student enrollment is more than 1,000. SPCE Mumbai has been accredited by NAAC and its courses have been accredited by the NBA. Sardar Patel College of Engineering Mumbai admissions are offered to 11 courses at the UG, PG and doctoral levels. SPCE Mumbai courses offered are - B.Tech, M.Tech and Ph.D. For securing admission to the Sardar Patel College of Engineering Mumbai, candidates have to appear for entrance examinations. The College has various national and international collaborations.
- For B.Tech, candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects with minimum of 50% marks (45% marks for Backward class and PWD candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together.
- For B.Tech (Lateral), candidates must have passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 50% marks

- Boys Hostel
The college provides accommodation for boys. All basic facilities are provided to the students. The hostels have furnished rooms. The facilities include a solar water heating system, RO purifiers, TV halls, etc. The capacity of the boy’s hostel is 278. - Girls Hostel
Residential facilities are provided to girls. Basic facilities like security, electricity, water supply, internet, etc are provided in the hostels. The capacity of the girl’s hostel is 67. - Gym
