Sahrdaya College of Engineering and Technology, Kodakara, P.B.No. 17, Thrissur (Dt), Kerala- 680684,The Government of Kerala included the Sahrdaya College as one of the engineering colleges to which the students have to be admitted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examination from the year 2002-2003 in the four branches sanctioned by the AICTE. On 21st November 2001 His Excellency Mar James Pazhayattil laid the foundation stone for central building of Sahrdaya College. Architects Mayphils from Ernakulam prepared the master plan for the college and detail plan for the individual buildings. On 22/02/2002 His Excellency Mar James Pazhayattil laid the foundation stone for the workshop and hostel building in the campus. In a short span of seven months the central building, workshop and hostel block were completed in all respects. All the 4 class rooms of the first batch were equipped with Networked Computers with LCD projector for Multimedia Presentations, Teak wood furniture, imported green glass Magnetic chalk boards etc. The laboratories required for first year in Physics and Chemistry departments and the workshop required in Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics and Civil engineering departments were fully equipped. A drawing hall containing modern adjustable drawing boards was also made available for use. An advanced Computer Lab with 60 networked Pentium-4 terminals was established. A language lab to train the students in English, Hindi, French, German, Arabic and Japanese languages was also established with necessary audio support from Linguaphone Institute Ltd, London.

Boys Hostel
The College provides residential facilities for boys. The hostel provides facilities that aid the students to live and grow in a congenial atmosphere. The administration makes it a point to see that the personality and character of each child are erected in the best possible manner over a period of time. The hostel and its framework are designed in such a manner that it plays a vital role in the academic progress of the students through a well-planned and organized schedule.

The college has separate well-equipped physical fitness centers for boys and girls. Proper guidance is provided by fitness trainers. It is open in both morning and evening.
Library
The college has a Department library that holds a large number of books related to graduate and postgraduate levels. It is also equipped with the seminar reports and project reports of all previous batches which are maintained for student reference. All faculties and students of the Department are allowed access to the library.
Sports
The college has been maintaining a high standard in almost all games among engineering colleges. The Department is giving systematic training and coaching for players in various games throughout the year. Leading teams are invited to Sahrdaya Campus for practice matches. In order to give competitive experience and exposure, Sahrdaya teams participated in all the Inter Private Engineering College Sports and Games Tournament.
Cafeteria
The College provides a canteen that serves food for students as well as faculty. The canteen is very clean and hygienic. We have a proper menu of food that is specific for each day. A fixed time schedule is also provided for food delivery.
Auditorium
The college has a well-built auditorium with a maximum occupancy of 3000. All the major programs like different ceremonies, personality development classes, orientation classes, awareness classes, etc. are being conducted over there. It is also being utilized in cultural activities in and outside the institute.

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.
