Santhigiri College focuses on the major policy issues concerning the disabled community. The inspiration emanated from the public and the CMI Fathers of Carmel province, Muvattupuzha, Kerala to stand for the cause of the disabled population enabled the foundation of Santhigiri in the year 1988.

The College has various Collaborations.
50% of the seats in each course shall be filled by the management from candidates of their choice, provided they satisfy the eligibility conditions prescribed by the University. 65% of the remaining seats shall be filled on general merit and 35% shall be filled candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and other backward communities in the order of merits.

The college has a girl's hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students. The college has a well-furnished hostel for the girls managed by the Sacred Heart Sisters. - Library

Our library also has a number of international and national journals, magazines, newspapers, and CDs.
