Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology is located in Jeppiaar Nagar, Rajiv Gandhi Salai, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The campus of the institute is well-connected to road, railways, and airways. The institute is located on the IT highway of Chennai, which is about 20 kms from the Chennai International Airport and 15 kms from Adyar. Students can hire a taxi from the airport and reach the campus in about 40 minutes. Chennai Mofussil Bus Terminus is the nearest bus station to the institute campus. It takes around 1 hour to reach the campus from CMBT. The nearest railway station is Central Railway Station, which is approximately 30 kms from the institute.

- Hostel - SIST has 5 hostels for male candidates and 5 hostels for female candidates. The institute has made provision of all academic and daily needs of the students on the campus to make their hostel life pleasant.
