Shivaji College of Education, Baad Karwar, District: U.K, Karnataka State-581304, IndiaShivaji College of education was started in 1972 through the efforts of Rtd additional commissioner for public instruction Late Shri V. B. Desai. It is one of the oldest B.Ed College in Karnataka. Till today it has made an incredible mark in the arena of education. For over four decades, the college has bloomed spreading its fragrance with budding teachers assiduously nurtured and groomed toward excellence to serve the society. The college is affiliated to the Karnatak University Dharwad and has been recognized by NCTE and University Grand Commission Under Section 2(f) 12B.
The institution is located in a pollution free campus with 5-03-0 acres of land. Building constructed as per the guidelines of NCTE norms.

The Biology section is equipped with all the necessary apparatus and specimens which help in meaningful coherence, Psychology Resource Center Educational psychology initiates the teacher towards understanding the learner. This subject is taught to the budding teachers with a series of experiments available in our psychology laboratory, which provides first-hand experience in the administration, and analysis of the tests. Technology Resource Centre Modern methods of teaching require the use of technology in the classroom.
