The College of Pharmacy was established in 1992 and offers programs in D. Pharm, B. Pharm, Pharm.D and M.mPharm by imparting theoretical and practical skills to students in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Throughout the history, college has developed a tradition of excellence and reputation for producing outstanding pool of students. Many students have occupied industrial and academic position in India and abroad.
The College of Pharmacy has sophisticated research laboratories for Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacognosy and Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance. Excellent research papers have been published and presented in various national and international conferences by the staff members. The college has received several research grants to the tune of Rupees Two Crores from AICTE, ICMR, BRNS, DST, CSIR, VGST and private Pharmaceutical industries.
Candidates who have passed two-year P.U.C examination of Karnataka P.U.C board or an equivalent examination of any other approved Board or University with not less than 40% marks in any combination comprising P.C.M or P.C.B or P.C.M.B, P.C and Computer science, PC and electronics.
In case of students belonging to SC/ST or Category-I, a minimum percentage of marks for admission to B.Pharm course shall not be less than 35% P.U.C or its equivalent examination (PCB, PCM, PCMB), P
