Sree Chitra Thirunal College of Engineering and APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Birmingham City University in the UK.
The agreement envisages student exchange programme, staff exchange programme, twinning programmes and collaborative research on e-mobility and improvement in the technology. SCT principal K Prabhakaran Nair said the officials would finalize the terms and conditions of the agreement soon.

Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Mathematics separately, and 50 % marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry put together are eligible for admission.
Candidates belonging to Socially and Educationally Backward Classes need only 45% marks in the case of Mathematics and 45% marks
