Sree Narayana Campus of Teacher Education, Kottappuram, Palakkad founded in 2002 was named after the great saint philosopher and social reformer, Sree Narayana Guru. It stands as a historical monument that reminds us the great doctrines of the Guru, ‘Gain strength through Organisation, Earn Wisdom Through Learning’, “One Caste, One religion, One God for Man.” This institution is run by Swami Swaswatheekananda trust for charity and education, Thengumkavu, Pathanamthitta, under the eminent leadership of Sri.M.B.Sreekumar Brahmasree Swaswatheekananda Swamikal, the prophet of non-religious spirituality is the spiritual light of this institution.
This temple of education is located in the valley of western ghatts with a picturesque site spread over 10 acres on the eastern side of Mannarkkad – Sreekrishnapuram road which can always hear the lullaby of ‘Karimpuzha’ river. The institution is functioning in a newly constructed building and comes under the jurisdiction of Karimpuzha Grama Panchayath, Palakkad District, Kerala.
Candidates with at least fifty percent marks either in the Bachelor’s degree and/or in the Master’s degree in sciences/social sciences/humanity, Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialization in science and mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the program.
