Sree Narayana College, S.N Puram P.O, Cherthala, District Alappuzha, Kerala-688582, India.Sree Narayana College, Cherthala was established by Sree Narayana Trusts, Kollam with the objective of providing higher education to the young men and women especially of the backward commmunities of the locality.The collegE lays special emphasis on character building and social commitments based on the teaching of Sree Narayana Guru who believed that "educated youth could shred the shackles of the social discrimination and face the challenges of life with confidence and pride" .
Realizing the dreams of the the Guru and materalizing exhortations like "Educate that you may be free" and "Enlightment through Eduacation", the college was inagurated on 14 th July 1964 by the late Sri R. Shanker the founder Secreatray of S.N Trusts and the then Chief Minister of Kerala.The Guru's preaching ,"One Caste ,One Religion and One God for man " is upheld in all realms of the function of the institution.

- Girls Hostel
The College has a Girl's hostel. The hostel is located within the campus. The College Principal is the Chief Warden of the hostel. The hostel has a Deputy warden from the teaching faculty of the College who is responsible for discipline maintenance of the building's allotment of room and any other duty assigned by the Chief Warden from time to time. The hostel also has a resident Tutor from the teacher's faculty to look after the immediate needs of the inmates and to assist the deputy warden. It is mandatory that all girl students who are not staying with their parents shall be permitted to stay only in the College Hostel. - Gym
The college has an equipped gymnasium hall meant for the benefit of the staff and students. - Library
The College library is fully computerized and is endowed with 32651 volumes of books on various disciplines, 65 Journals, INFLIBNET, and Internet facilities.
