The campus of the college spreads over an area of 52 acres of land. Sri Krishna College of Technology is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with grade A. The college is also accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), Indian Institute of Banking and Finance and National Cyber Safety and Security Standards. SKCT Coimbatore is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Sri Krishna College of Technology is affiliated to Anna University. The college has also secured 137th position in the NIRF ranking 2021 in the Engineering category as compared to 152nd rank in 2020 in the same category.
Being an autonomous institute, SKCT Coimbatore offers 8 undergraduate programmes, 6 postgraduate programmes and 4 doctoral level programmes in the fields of engineering, technology and management. The courses offered by the college are B.E, M.E, M.B.A and Ph.D. Sri Krishna College of Technology is a centre of excellence and has 4 recognised research centres. Sri Krishna College of Technology has a total of 252 well-qualified faculty members. The total number of students enrolled at present is 3806. Thus, the student-teacher ratio at the college is 15:1.

The college is located at Golf Road, Arivoli Nagar, Vivekanandapuram, Kovaipudur, Tamil Nadu. There are various modes of transport to reach SKCT Coimbatore. - Boys Hostel
The hostels are very spacious and provide comfortable accommodation to the outstation students. Sri Krishna College of Technology boys hostel facilities include double and triple sharing rooms with attached bathrooms, dining hall, lobby, terrace, solar water heater, RO water, wi-fi, etc. Recreational facilities like indoor and outdoor games are also available. The hostels also provide facilities for yoga practice. Mess facilities are available, where only vegetarian food is served. - Girls Hostel

Various indoor and outdoor games like chess, carrom, badminton, table tennis, tennis, volleyball, football, hockey, basketball, handball, hockey, etc are provided by the college sports department.
