St Marys College, Kuppadi, Sulthan Bathery, Wayanad-673592, Kerala, IndiaSt. Mary’s College, SulthanBathery, the pioneering higher education institution ofWayanad district, was established in the year 1965 by Rev. Fr. Mathai Nooranal of Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church,which has its headquarters at Kottayam, Kerala. The Church has the credit of being instrumental in establishing the first institution of higher education in India—Cotym College—in its Seminary at Kottayam in 1815.
HH Baselios Poulose II is the ‘Educational Agency’ of the College.
The College is situated atop Kuppadi hills in the heart of the Municipal township of SulthanBathery in a serene campus that spreads across 32 acres; 2 kilometres away from Kozhikode-Kollegal National High Way and close to Wayanad Wild Life Sanctuary. The splendid scenery of Nilgiri Hills, Banasura Sagar Hills and the Edakkal Cave Hills first welcomes a visitor.
The College is affiliated to the University of Calicut and offers 11 undergraduate and 10 postgraduate programmes and has 4 research centres offering facilities for doctoral research.

- Boys Hostel
The college has a boy’s hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students. - Girls Hostel
The college has a girl's hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students. - Gym

The College follows a centralized library system. Library serves all students and faculty members. A library is a comfortable place to study, to investigate a topic of interest, or to enjoy reading subject books, journals, and general magazines. The library works from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm except for public holidays. - Sports
The Volleyball Academy in association with the St.Mary's College Higher Secondary School with a Sports Hostel exclusively for girls with the aid of the Sports department of Government of Kerala has many commendable achievements from time to time to its credit. It has produced many national and international players since its inception in 2004. - Cafeteria
The college maintains a Cafeteria near the West Block which is called Canteen and is open for regular working hours of the college and serves Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian Breakfast, Lunch, and Snacks at subsidized rates. The students are encouraged to use the premises to take food brought from home as well. The ground floor of the canteen is reserved for students in general. The first floor is generally used by Staff. - Auditorium
The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars. - Medical/Hospital
Every student has to undergo a medical inspection once during the course. If students fail to present themselves for medical inspection at the proper time their case shall be reported to the University which may punish them in such a manner it deems fit. A report on the result of the medical inspection shall be forwarded to the University. Where a medical certificate has to be produced by the student such certificates should be obtained from either the college doctor or from some other doctors approved by the Principal. - WiFi

So the college, besides the regular curriculum, imparts communicative English to students to acquire proficiency in communication skills in English. The College maintains a books and stationery stall in the basement of North Block. The Store is constituted as a cooperative society under an Act of the Government of Kerala. - Parking Facility
