St Teresa’s College (STC) is an autonomous women’s college established in 1925 by the Carmelite Sisters of St. Teresa. The institute is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. With a CGPA of 3.57, St Teresa’s College is accredited by NAAC with an ‘A++’ grade. The institute got 45th place in NIRF College Rankings 2021. As per the official website of the college, the vision of STC Ernakulam is to empower women through teaching, learning and research. The campus of the institute is spread over an area of 18 acres and it has 80 faculty members.
The college offers 58 courses at undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate levels. The admission in most of the courses offered by the college is based on the merit of the last qualifying examination. Admission in B.Sc. Apparel & Design, B.A. Bharatanatyam, Masters in Fashion Designing and PG Diploma in Fashion Designing programmes require candidates to appear for the aptitude test conducted by St Teresa’s College. Students with prolific academic performance are offered various institute and state-level scholarships at the institute. To ensure comprehensive growth of the students the college has signed MOUs with a number of foreign universities like Newman University, UK, Richmond, The American International University, London etc.

St Teresa's College is located at Park Avenue Road, Marine Drive, Ernakulam, Kerala. The college is about 33 km away from the Cochin International Airport and around 2.7 km from the nearest railway station which is the Ernakulam Junction. The nearest bus depot to St Teresa’s College is KSRTC Bus Depot. It is located 2.2 km away from the campus.
Have passed +2 or equivalent examination recognized by this University with other subjects under Part III optional subjects provided they have secured 45% of the aggregate marks.
Girls Hostel The institute has three girls hostels - one in the main building and the other two in the science block. The hostel rooms are clean and comfortable. Students need to apply for the hostels during admission only.
Gym The college has a well-established gym for its students. The gym has weight training equipment, treadmills, gym mats and many more facilities.
Library The library was established in 1925 and named “Mother Veronica Library”. Currently, there are over 1 lakhs books and 200 journals and magazines in the library. Additionally, 90,000 ebooks and 6000 e-journals are also available for the students. Covering an area of 1679.25 square meters, the library has a seating capacity of 500 people.
Sports The college has a multi-purpose indoor stadium - Teresian Gym Plaza ’75 for students. During free time, students can play table tennis and many other indoor sports.
Cafeteria A spacious and well-maintained canteen is there at the campus. It serves delicious food at reasonable prices to students and faculty members.
Auditorium St Teresa's College has two auditoriums i.e. Platinum Jubilee Auditorium and Arts Auditorium. The Platinum Jubilee Auditorium has a seating capacity of 2000 people and it is equipped with the latest technology. Whereas, the Arts Auditorium can accommodate 1000 people at a time. Numerous academic and cultural activities are conducted here. The institute also has an open auditorium.
WiFi SIT Ernakulam offers wifi connectivity to its students and faculty members.
IT Infrastructure The college has modern IT Infrastructure in all its labs. All the labs have audiovisual systems, LCD projectors, internet etc.
