Suryadatta College of Management Information Research and Technology, Sr. No.342, Bavdhan, Pune-4110Established in 1999, Suryadatta College of Management Information Research & Technology (also known as SCMIRT Pune) is a constituent unit of Surya Group of Institutes founded by Late Smt Ratanbai and Shri Bansilalji Chordiya in Pune- The Oxford of East. SCMIRT is one of the 13 sister constituent institutes run and managed by Surya Group in the field of Management, Travel and Tourism, Hotel Management, Media and Mass Communication, Interior Designing, Fashion and Jewellery Design, Event Management, Multimedia Graphics and Animation, Creative Arts, Aviation, Health and Fitness, Self Defence, Beauty and Wellness, Vocational and Advanced Studies. The institute is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University (formerly known as University of Pune or University of Poona), recognised by Government of Maharashtra and accredited by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), All India Management Association (AIMA) and Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra (DTE).
SCMIRT offers an array of bachelor and master programmes in the fields of Business Administration, International Business, Information Technology and Commerce. The institute offers career and industry-oriented training to prepare its students for better employment opportunities of around the world. Students from all parts of India and many foreign countries pursue education at various Suryadatta Institutions. The institute offers BBA, BSc and BCom at undergraduate level and MSc and MCom at postgraduate level. Campus facilities for students include well-equipped labs, a state-of-the-art campus, management labs, computer labs and a high-speed Wi-Fi facility for students so that the students and faculty remain connected all the time. The library offers access to a wide range of information sources that include 24,000+ regular text books reference books, 62 leading national and international journals, magazines, periodicals and subscription of six leading newspapers.

The Suryadatta library is a rich resource center, providing multifaceted services and facilities to meet the ever-growing requirements of the students and professionals. It is the prime learning resource at Suryadatta. Services are provided in person, through the mail, e-mail and members can borrow textbooks, reference books, journals, newspapers and periodicals, article abstracts, bibliographies on any specific subject of their interest. The Library has a rich collection of books on management, information technology, economics, international business, and allied areas. Leading national & international management. Periodicals, magazines & journals are subscribed too. The reference collection in the library includes dictionaries, directories, reports, encyclopedias, periodicals, project reports, past question papers, company annual reports balance sheets) Management Association's material, CD-ROMs (of corporate presentations, company profiles, training programs, etc.) and online databases. SURYADATTA students can also borrow books, journals, CDs from the British Council Library at nominal additional charges. A separate reading room is available for students where newspapers and magazines are available. - Sports
