The Vaikunth Mehta National Institute of Cooperative Management is financed by the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Government of India. VAMNICOM Pune is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Vaikunth Mehta National Institute of Cooperative Management commonly known as VAMNICOM Pune is an ISO 9001: 2015 certified national institute. The institute is accredited by NBA.VAMNICOM Pune P.G.D.M is recognised by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to M.B.A. Vaikuntha Mehta National Institute of Cooperative Management has collaborated with various international agencies and organisations such as the International Cooperative Alliance (ICA), International Labour Organisation (ILO), Food & Agricultural Organisation (FAO), etc. Vaikunth Mehta National Institute of Co-operative Management conducts exchange programmes in collaboration with the Department of International, Technical & Economic Co-operation (ITEC), Ministry of External Affairs.
