It is a private unaided institution managed by Sathpatha Education Trust Thirthahalli, which has been rendering pioneering work in the field of higher education . The college provides Two year course of study which leads to the bachelor degree in the faculty of education i.e, B.Ed. It is a co- education institute. The intake capacity of the college is 50. Out of 50 seats, 25 seats will be filled by the government through C.A.C Bangalore. The remaining 25 seats will be filled by the management.
The management has taken all the plans to provide fully qualified staff, a good library, well equipped laboratories as per N.C.T.E. norms. It has made remarkable progress in the field of teacher education .Since begining.
The Sathpatha Education Trust runs the college as a model institution of the development of professional competence of prospective teachers.

Candidates with at least fifty percent marks either in the Bachelor?s Degree and Master?s Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/ Humanity, Bachelor's in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification, equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the program.

The College Good hostel facility for Gents will be arranged. The hostel is very near to the college and located in the most secure place in Thirthahalli. The hostel has all the necessary facilities and can accommodate all students of our college every year. Good Mess Facilities are provided on payment every Month on the dividing system. - Girls Hostel

The College library is in charge of a full-time- qualified libration, There are more than 10000 books including reference books and encyclopedia for the B.Ed course. About 15 journals and periodicals pertaining to education help in enhancing the knowledge of students. The library will be kept open during the working hours of the college and even after the college hours at the time of examination. The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students. Science Lab: The Science laboratory has all the equipment and material which enables the science students to practice the experiments pertaining to their practice teaching. Psychology Lab: This is well equipped to conduct experiments regarding learning, personality development, memory intelligence aptitude as per the requirements of the B.Ed syllabus.
