The VISAT Alumni Association was founded graciously upon the graduation of the very first batch of students in 2015 as a means of welfare and trust among the students and their alma mater. During the first ever gathering of the alumnus, the name Ormakuttu was proposed for the association. The association‘s primary and constant vision remains the reconnection of the alumnus with their institution and the current students so that they can inspire them and nurture them. It also strives to engage them through various activities among all the stakeholders, to generate impact through several social and academic projects for a collective growth.
Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Mathematics separately, and 50 % marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry put together are eligible for admission. However, candidates who have obtained 45% marks in Mathematics separately with 60% aggregate marks in Physics and Chemistry put together are also eligible for admission. Boys Hostel
The College has Two Hostel for Boys with 100Nos Capacity An ideal hostel must be, in essence, a home away from home. There are separate College hostels for Boys. The College provides well-furnished hostel accommodation to its students. Respecting differences, Visatians at the hostel builds up a healthy union of minds and hearts. The facilities offered VISAT are so designed as to provide a sense of belonging, security, and care as well as a spirit of independence, within reasonable limits. The stay at campus would certainly provide a wealth of experience by developing qualities such as comradeship and social responsibility.

The College library works with faculty and students and considers the current requirement for books, journals, and periodicals. VISAT Library provides the latest library material to its patrons on Engineering and Science related subjects. The collection includes 8000 books, national and international journals, and many periodicals. It also has free access to thousands of international journals through the High-speed digital library and free auxiliary programs in soft skills, communication skills, and interview facing.
Cafeteria
The College Cafeteria has been specially designed with a clean and comfortable environment where the students can enjoy their food. Refreshment time is the time when a student takes a break from the studies to relax and thus the cafeteria is open to students, staff and other visitors to the campus. The menu has been planned to best fit the needs of the students. The cafeteria provides hygienic and healthy foods and snacks at an affordable price and in good quality.

The Laboratories at College are equipped with the best quality equipment of the respective subject. An Engineer contributes to the development of society when he is able to innovate new ideas. For this special focus has to be there on the practical aspects of the course, which increases the curiosity and interest of the student. The College Labs provide the students training on the equipment and machinery which he is going to face while he moves out to serve the industry. Experiments are performed under the guidance of expert Faculty.

Specially designed workshops include Machine Shop, Fitting Shop, Welding Shop, Sheet Metal Shop, Carpentry Shop, Smithy Shop, Foundry Shop. The acquisition of the latest equipment and machines ensures basic Engineering skills with the help of qualified, experienced and knowledgeable faculty.
