It is named in the memory of Late Shri Yeshwantrao Chavan, the first chief minister of Maharashtra and the former deputy Prime Minister of India. The institute is spread over a campus size of 14 acres. YCCE Nagpur has a total faculty size of 14 members. The institute is accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and Grade “A” by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). YCCE Nagpur has secured 149th rank in the engineering category in NIRF 2021 rankings. YCCE Nagpur is affiliated to Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University.
Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, Civil Engineering, Information Technology etc. are the various branches of engineering offered by the institute. YCCE Nagpur offers various facilities and infrastructure to its students. The institute offers a total of 29 courses at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. YCCE Nagpur also offers scholarships and placement opportunities to all its students.
