Admission Process
Admissions at the T A Pai Management Institute are offered at postgraduate and doctoral level programmes. Meeting the eligibility criteria is the first step of the T A Pai Management Institute admission process. Candidates can proceed for further admission rounds after filling the college application form. For TAPMI Manipal admission to the M.B.A. programme, the institute has a two-way admission procedure, one for the candidates having work experience of less than 20 months and the other for the candidates having work experience of more than 20 months. TAPMI Manipal admission procedure for M.B.A. programme for both the type of candidates is the same, except in the first case, candidates should obtain minimum cut off marks in CAT/XAT/GMAT, X, XII and graduation, whereas in the second case, no cut off marks is required. Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of performance in the entrance exam and all previous examinations, work experience, extra-curricular activities and statement of purpose. After shortlisting of the candidates from both groups, the institute conducts English proficiency test, group discussion and personal interviews. For T A Pai Management Institute admission to Ph.D Management programme admission, candidates have to appear for entrance test and interview. UGC/CSIR(JRF)/UGC/CSIR NET/SLET/GATE qualified candidates are exempted from the entrance test. After the selection of the candidates, they need to submit the documents and pay the fees to confirm their seats at the college.
